No doubt by now you have a caching plugin installed and merrily running on your WordPress site, and, if your anything like me you tend to use the same plugin for all your projects (after all, if it aint broke – dont fix it) but in recent times there have been some great new plugins to emerge onto the scene so you can kiss good bye to the headache of setting up classic plugins such as W3 Total Cache and WP Super Cache and start speeding up you site with little to no fuss.
Formerly known as Zen-Cache, Comet Cache has been my go to plugin for quick and simple WordPress caching for a long time, until recently anyway (more on this later). The plugin is very simple to use and can be up and running in just a few clicks. Overall the plugin offers the same kind of performance you would expect from any of the heavy hitting plugins like W3 Total Cache but doesn’t require the diploma to get working.
This is a relatively new, and small plugin in the real of WP Caching, however the plugin is so simple it would be a shame not to mention it in this article. If your looking for the simplest possible setup process for speeding up your WordPress site (and if the above Comet Cache plugin is too complex for you) then you really cant get much more simple than WP-Cache.com minute plugin.
Setup is as simple as installing the plugin as you normally would – then activate and enable the plugin and that’s it – your job is done.
WP Fastest Cache
WP Fastest Cache has become my go-to solution for my personal site and projects, not only is it comprehensive in that it can not only provided great caching, it also handles the task of minifying your HTML, JS and CSS. Its also one of the fastest solutions available, offering better performance than any other plugin iv tested.
