10+ Themes for Podcasters & Streamers for April 2018

Are you looking to start up your own podcast or stream? Perhaps you already run one and want to create an excellent online space to promote your work? Today’s list rounds-up my personal picks for the best WordPress Themes for podcaster’s, streamers and vloggers.

1. Malory – Photography & Magazine WordPress Theme

Im kicking off today’s list with one of our finest magazine themes – Malory for WordPress. Although the theme offers an expansive and flexible portfolio component, its magazine style of blog really lends itself as a platform to promote your podcast, no matter the niche/genre.

Powered by the world-renown WPBakery Page Builder plugin and packed with a host of custom elements, you can craft any kind of page you wish. On top of this the blog allows you to set a custom colour to accent each of your categories which really adds to the overall visual appeal of the design.

2. Viseo – News, Video, & Podcast Theme

Next up I have chosen a real gem and one of the finest themes iv come accords in a recent times. Viseo, by Envato Power Elite authors ProgressionStudio is a powerful, flexible platform for news, videos and podcasts.

Breaking away from “the norm”, Viseo’s page builder component is the popular newcomer to the scene – Elementor for WordPress, but don’t let that scare you away. The powerful page building experience offered gives you a truly visual drag and drop interface, making this a killer choice for anyone looking to the lowest entry barrier to making a site with WP.

3. Videoly – Video WordPress Theme for Video Blog

As the more-than-a-little youtube-esque logo suggestion, my next pic is aimed towards the video side of things, and oh boy does it do a good job.

At heart Videoly is a great platform for creating a video-centric blog which lends itself perfectly to video podcasts, vloggers or even streamers who wish to keep an archive of past streams or such. The theme includes a full demo package and is built upon Visual Composer its easy enough for anyone familiar with the plugin or newcomers alike.

4. Podcaster – Multimedia WordPress Theme

As the name suggestions, my next choice is one for the podcaster’s and its one of my favourite picks in today’s list – Podcaster by Themestation.

Podcaster offers a modern but timeless flat design which could easily lend itself to any niche, but what really sets the theme apart is its deliberate lack of page builder. Instead, the theme works like a more traditional blogging theme which means its light and as simple as can be to use. This, together with the themes support for popular podcasting plugin “Seriously Simple Podcasting” make this one well worth checking out.

5. Dixie – Podcast and Audio WordPress Theme

Another entry aiming towards podcasting channels or bloggers next, in the form of Dixie by SecondLine.

Dixie, much like Video mentioned above, is based on the marvellous Elementor Page Builder which offers a very simple interface for building out pages via intuitive drag and drop but the real draw here is Dixie’s custom audio player which not only looks great – it also supports commonly used platforms such as SoundCloud, MixCloud and even Youtube – making it flexible to boot!

One for the gamers next – we have GoodGame by collection newcomers, Plantetshine. GoodGame is powered by WPBakery Page Builder and is bundled with a host of game-centric blocks which allow you to not only present your streams, but also create reviews and much more.

The themes unique Twitch integration really packs a punch too, allowing you to not only show your schedule, online/offline status etc – but you can also archive your highlights and clips with ease, and show them on your homepage or in the themes dedicated archive.
